History:

Opened on October 28th, 2009, in the historic Mississippi neighborhood, Prost! was created by Chris Navarra and Dan Hart in order to give an authentic German pub experience to the City of Portland.

After spending much of his childhood visiting his family's farm in Buseck-Beuern, Germany, Chris decided that Portland needed to experience German bier the way it should be served. Most of the pictures hanging on Prost's walls are of Chris's family and hometown. Longtime friends Chris and Dan partnered up in early 2009, and along with a local developer, took a dilapidated building, built in 1894 and once housing everything from a drugstore to a church, and turned it into a friendly neighborhood bier stube.
